Game Introduction
Welcome to the premier women's rugby match! This league has grown bigger and better each season, beginning with merely four clubs back in 2018 to a considerably larger 12 teams. Remarkably, we still ended up with the Roosters and Broncos in the grand final, just as we did back in 2018.
Both teams have been remarkable throughout the campaign – the Roosters are yet to be defeated in 2025 and the Broncos suffered a single defeat. The two clubs feature star players all over the field and both are perfectly capable of securing the win when performing well.
Their previous encounter occurred in the third round – earlier this season – when Sydney achieved a close win by only four points. Throughout that match, the Roosters opened impressively, created a comfortable half-time lead, before Brisbane launched a second half comeback. Olivia Kernick scored a crucial late try to secure the victory for the reigning champions in an exciting game. If the competitors repeat that performance from the earlier matchup, fans can expect an exceptional contest today.
Considering the buildup before us, the action commences!
